Indeed, I had a wonderful day on my birthday or happy week! I took a day off on Wednesday and shopped quite a few clothing, and Ron surprised me with Sheryl Crow's live concert in Maryland. I also got my gift yesterday. More, I will start my new job Monday, October 4th. I love life now.

I’m not a horticulturist, a landscape designer or even a very good plantswoman. I've never learned to speak with a botanist's tongue or plan my gardens with just a catalog and a pad of paper - in fact, I have always gardened best in hindsight, through the clumsy & careless lens of ‘trial & error’ because it is only when I see what shouldn’t be - that I realize what it can be. I am a just careless but happy gardener who likes to dig in the dirt, play in the mud and make messy gardens to please only me, the birds and the bees. So come - let’s rest on the garden bench awhile and admire all the flowers in bloom ....
