I've been thinking a lot about cars lately. Mostly my lack of one.
I'm thinking that I need to get one soon - very soon because I hate having to preface every conversation with a friend with ... 'I don't have a car you know, you'll have to drive.'
I've started looking at what's out there right now and while a sleigh driven by 8 tiny reindeer might be very 'green', oh so cute and quite popular at the North Pole - I'm thinking the feeding & care of said sleigh & 8 tiny reindeer might just be a tad too much for me.
And I can already hear what our HOA would have to say about my parking it up on the rooftop.
Nope, I think I'd better stick to the standard 4 wheeled variety of transport.
Mike is going to take over the Jetta because it gets amazing mileage (40+ mpg) and I will get something else.
I'm not sure what we'll end up buying but more cargo space (car lingo for a bigger trunk or an SUV: Nancy lingo for more room to haul plants home) is definitely at the top of my *wish* list.
I've been looking at the Ford Escape Hybrid. It claims to get 30+ mpg - not too bad.
Does anyone know someone who drives one? Thoughts!
We'll see what the Mr. Budget and Mr. Burr have to say about it.
Hope everyone has a great day planned.

I hope Santa brings you a new suv/or van so when you go to Mulbacks you have room to bring back your treasures.
